Store Policies

Shipping

  • For orders shipped inside the US, please allow 7-10 working days.  APO and FPO addresses could take up to three weeks.
     
  • For orders outside the US, shipping fees will be higher and receipt of your package could take up to three weeks.
     
  • We use UPS as our shipping agent, and you will receive tracking information on your shipment after you place your order with us.
     
  • The items you purchase are shipped according to weight, and this will be calculated at your final checkout.
     
  • We use UPS as our shipping agent.   We offer flat rate shipping, and the schedule is as follows: 0 – 2 lbs: $9.50; over 2 – 4 lbs: $11.50;  over 4 – 6 lbs: $13.50  We send the packages regular ground, which typically takes between 3 - 5 working days. If you need to expedite the shipping,   please contact us before you place the order and we will be happy to handle that for you.
     

Returns/Refunds

  • We want to make sure that you, our valued customer, are satisfied with your shopping experience at Magpies Gifts. If you mail your item(s) back to us in original condition, within two weeks of the purchase date, we will refund your bank or credit card the full amount minus 15% restocking fee.
  • We use PayPal for our online transactions.  If you decide to cancel your order, and you want a refund to your credit card or PayPal account, please let us know within TWELVE HOURS of your purchase.   We can refund your full amount, but you may not see the credit on your card for up to 5 working days. 
     
  • You may bring an online store purchase to one of our physical stores, if you are in the area, for a store credit within two weeks of the purchase date.
     
  • No returns on monogrammed items, unless it is a mistake on our part. We greatly appreciate your careful review of your order before you make your purchase, checking every initial, thread color and size.
     
  • Sorry, no returns on jewelry or seasonal items.
     

Backorder/Out of Stock

  • We will immediately inform you if the item you ordered is on back order.
     
  • We have no control over the occasional discontinuation of an item that we have on our website. Please know that we will make every effort to offer you an alternative item, or we will begin a complete refund process for you.
     

Gift Certificates

  • We are pleased to offer online gift certificates to our customers, but please keep in mind that they are only available for shopping in our online store. You (or the recipient) will be given a gift voucher number ; when the recipient checks out of the online store, there will be a box designated for the person to submit that gift voucher number.
