They say the early bird gets the worm, but that isn’t all! If you’re early enough, you get a glimpse of the season’s hottest gifts. At least, that was true on November 23. We were honored to join Courtney Zavala on Channel 2’s Morning News Show, where we showed off some of what Magpies has in store.
It was an exciting — and early — morning for our girls, who met at the station at about 6 a.m. to make sure our display was camera ready, and also shake out last-minute jitters. If you aren’t used to going on-air, it can be intimidating. Once we had everything looking great, it was into the studio, where we got a behind-the-scenes look at the show and waited for our segment.
Nerves aside, once cameras started rolling, it was like a conversation with an old friend. We talked useful and unique gift ideas (have you seen the Selfie Pole?) and even in-store monogramming. The segment was over before we knew it.
