Those without green thumbs—and even avid gardeners—will love these care-free amaryllis bulbs. They don’t need to be planted or watered and will bloom beautifully on their own. Note: The bulbs are not harmed during the waxing or mossing process. The exterior coating can be removed after blooming, and with proper care, the bulbs can continue to live for years.

Care Instructions

No watering or planting needed—the bulbs will bloom on their own. Keep them at a constant ambient temperature of 70°F or warmer.

No direct sunlight required. They can bloom in any indoor room. Avoid placing waxed bulbs in direct sun, as the wax may soften.

Bloom timing varies by bulb variety and temperature. Consider them seasonal décor rather than aiming for a specific bloom date.

Blooms may become top-heavy—add support if needed.

The bloom cycle averages 8–12 weeks. Each bulb produces at least 2 bloom stalks, and often up to 4.
